You can feel it happening. And I'm not going to sugarcoat it.

You are in a muscle crisis. A bone density crisis. Your future health is on the line now more than ever.

You are building the woman you will become in 20 years, RIGHT NOW.

Will you need help getting off a toilet? Will a broken hip lead to loss of independence and living in a long-term care facility? Will you be able to say "yes" to your children and grandchildren?

And let's not forget about your joy, vitality, and purpose. Do you still have it? Do you have peace in your soul?

It all ties together. It all matters.

The choices you make now will determine this: Are you building a legacy, or a liability?

Nobody declines in a day.

It happens in a hundred small surrenders you barely notice. The walk you skipped. The chair that got comfortable. The Bible that stayed shut.

Nobody wakes up one morning weak and worn out. We get there one easy choice at a time, and then the world calls it aging and tells us to make our peace with it.

The preventable lifestyle diagnoses begin (high blood pressure, high blood sugar, muscle and bone loss, cardiovascular disease, weight gain). The loss of joy and purpose. Normal. It's all normal, right?

No. It's largely a choice.

I call it the silent decline. And there's very good news buried inside it.
It works exactly the same way in reverse.

You don't get strong in a day either. You get strong the way you got weak, one choice at a time, except now you're stacking them in the right direction.

That's not a five-day thing. That's a twelve-week thing.

Five days will wake you up. Twelve weeks will change what you're made of.

Here's what nobody told us.

Muscle is the longevity organ.

It's the thing that decides whether you get out of a chair at 80 without asking for help. Whether you carry your own bag. Whether you can get down on the floor with a grandchild and, more to the point, get back up again.

Most of us were never told that. We were told to watch our weight. Maybe do some cardio. Nobody ever told us to build.

Same story everywhere else. Nobody told us that peace is mostly found outside, and that you have to go get it. Nobody told us that faith is a practice, not a feeling, and practices have to be built like anything else.

So we get to 50, or 63, or 71, and we feel it.

You wake up more tired than when you went to sleep. You've gained weight in places you never gained it before and your strength is disappearing before your eyes. You can't sleep. Your brain feels foggy and in general you feel lost.

You used to be the one who said yes to everything, and now your default is no, because you're not sure your body can follow through. You look in the mirror and don't recognize who's looking back. And somewhere underneath all of it is a quiet fear you don't say out loud: that this is normal. Your new normal.

That fear is lying to you. And it's time to answer it.

You are not lazy or broken. And God's far from done with you yet.

You were never given the plan.

That's all this is. The plan.

I could keep up with my grandson all over the zoo.

"I started this as someone who hadn't done any formal exercise program in many, many years.

The weekly plan and encouragement got me exercising faithfully 3x a week, which is a huge win for me. I didn't break any records or have a magical, dramatic transformation.

But little by little, I was able to increase my weights, and to increase my muscle mass and strength. I noticed the progress in little everyday things: being able to keep up with my 6-year-old grandson as we walked all over the zoo, which I couldn't do a year ago, spending more time working in my garden before feeling fatigue, and just making better choices for my health."

~K.C., Iowa

Twelve weeks from now.

You wake up and your first thought isn't dread. You have peace and purpose.

You walk up the stairs without thinking about it. You carry your groceries without putting them down halfway. You get up off the floor without using your hands, and you don't even notice, because it's easy now.

You step outside just to enjoy the breeze and gaze at the sky. (Maybe even grab a hula-hoop!)

Your daughter says, "Mom, you seem different. Good different." And you smile because you know exactly what she means.

  • Stronger bones and stronger muscles, built properly, in the right order.
  • Vitality and joy that you can actually feel, not just talk about.
  • A connection to God that means something again, with practices that hold when the week gets hard.
  • Less worry, more peace, and a real strategy for finding it under the trees.

And a group of women who know your name and know what you're working on.

Not a new you. The you that's been in there the whole time, with the strength put back.

"I skipped all the way to the mailbox today. I don't know why, I just did!"

~Jill, Hawkins, Michigan

Friends beyond the borders of this course.

"After going through this course I feel closer to Jesus, stronger in body, more nourished by nature, and supported by a community of women who are now friends beyond the borders of this course!"

~Tara, Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Why twelve weeks and not five days.

Because muscle stacks. Week one's workout isn't week nine's workout, and it can't be. Your body needs the weeks in between to become the kind of body that can do week nine.

Because you can't write a Rule of Life in an afternoon.

Because learning to practice and observe the Sabbath takes four weeks, and four weeks is the least it deserves.

Because women don't stop being strangers in five days. They stop being strangers somewhere around week four, and by week twelve they're checking in on each other without being asked.

In four weeks, Tara was closer to Jesus than she'd been in years. By week eight, Jill was skipping to the mailbox. That's not a five-day result.

Five days is where you start. Twelve weeks is where it holds.

What's inside Legacy Body Life.

Twelve weeks, released one week at a time, so you never open the door to a wall of content and wonder where on earth to start. You open your week, you do your week.

More Jesus.

Most women tell me the More Jesus pillar is the one that changed everything.

Together, we learn to follow Jesus with our whole lives. We study Practicing the Way: how to be with Jesus, become like Him, and do as He did. It's eye-opening, thoughtful, surprising, and delightful. You'll come away with a full heart and a hope and purpose that can only come from a relationship with Jesus.

Then four straight weeks of learning to practice and observe the Sabbath: Stop, Rest, Delight, Worship.

And scripture to meditate on and memorize every single week. Bible snacks. Small enough to carry with you, big enough to change the day.

More Muscles.

When your body is strong, something shifts that has nothing to do with how you look.

You walk into a room differently. You take up the space you're supposed to take up. You stop apologizing for needing help with things you should be able to do yourself. You stop watching from the sideline while everyone else does the things you used to do.

You feel capable again. And capable, at any age, feels like freedom.

That's what we're building. Not a number on a scale or a size on a tag. The feeling of being in a body that works for you instead of against you. The feeling of being able. The feeling of being here. Fully, physically, joyfully here, for every single thing life asks of you.

That feeling has a name. It is strong. And it's available to you right now.

Every workout builds on the one before it, because your body in week nine isn't the body that showed up in week one. We're building something, not just moving.

Workouts start with bodyweight. Movement stacks as you learn how to properly move your body under load. A warm-up and three 10-minute workouts a week for the first six weeks with bands and bodyweight. From week seven it steps up to five 10-minute workouts a week with bands or dumbbells. Let me say that again… 10-minute workouts! (Don't tell me you can't do it!)

Walking is built in, with some quick-burst, high-intensity prompts to train and preserve our power and agility. (My favorite!)

You start where you are. Every movement has a modification. Nobody gets left behind.

More Trees.

I call it RECESS. Because that's exactly what it is, and you haven't had enough of it since you were nine years old. No agenda. No phone. No productivity. Just you, your senses, and whatever God decided to put outside your door today.

I've been going outside my whole life. Adventures, wild places, hard terrain. That's always been my thing. But More Trees isn't about adventure. It's about something quieter than that.

Some days it's five minutes on your porch. Some days it's a walk that turns into something you didn't expect. It's about sitting still long enough to notice the bumblebee on the milkweed. The way the light changes in the last hour of the day. The pine needles under your feet. The birdsong you've never noticed before.

It's about drinking in the nuance of a single ordinary day instead of rushing through an entire season and suddenly saying, where did summer go?

You take your recess, you come back different. Quieter inside. More yourself. Ready for what's next. That's not a coincidence. Maybe it's the first time you've been still enough to hear God's voice. Oh, it's always been there, you just haven't heard it. Until recess.

That's biology meeting theology, and it happens under trees.

Sometimes recess takes ten minutes, sometimes twenty. Either way, it'll do more for your head than another hour of scrolling.

"Brooke has made it very doable."

"There are so many benefits to this course personally and as a group. The participants grow close to each other, encouraging, sharing, and holding each other accountable. We prayed for each other and shared struggles and joys with each other.

The health benefits are wonderful both physically and mentally. Our brains, body, and souls need activity to function well. It feels good to exercise so there is reward with that too. Enjoying nature is good for the body and soul as well. All three areas are focused on very well in this course.

Brooke has made it very doable and enjoyable. It's a fun program and also deep with learning and growing. I hope to continue being a part of the group in one way or another and I will continue to practice the things I have learned."

~Shea, Tustin, Michigan

And the part that keeps us together.

A live call with me every week. Friday, 10am EST. It isn't a lecture. I pick something I don't cover in the course, we talk about it properly, and then it opens up into your questions and wherever the conversation wants to go. This is my favorite hour of the week.

A private community of women doing the same twelve weeks you're doing. Not a feed. A room.

A Closing Ceremony in week twelve, because finishing something matters and we're going to mark it.

And the option to stay. When the twelve weeks are done, you keep your course material, and you can stay in the community and attend the Friday calls in the add-on membership for as long as you want to.

The content is what you came for. The women are why you stay.

I'm Brooke. And I almost didn't turn this around either.

I was a workaholic who'd stopped listening to God, and I was drinking too much. I knew it, and I kept going anyway. Until I looked in the mirror one day, hungover, feeling weak and discouraged, and honestly, disgusted. I'd had just about enough of myself. Was this how the second half of my life was going to go?

At the same time, I was taking care of my mom, who was declining.

She'd spent the last decade and a half of her life in a chair. MS. Breast cancer. Scoliosis. All of it real. But a lot of it was also choices: smoking, sitting, giving up.

I'd bring her exercise bands. She'd tuck them in a drawer. I'd discuss alternative medicines, better nutrition, and even more BINGO. She'd say she wasn't interested.

And I had to watch her go from a decade in a chair to the last year and a half of her life completely in bed.

I love my mom. She was a great mom. But that's the legacy body she left me, the health heritage I'll remember forever. But who was I to judge?

Back to that moment in the mirror.

Was that my mother's face I saw looking back? I wasn't connected to God the way I used to be. I was letting things slide that mattered: not eating right, not taking care of my body. I was on a similar path of self-destruction.

So I got honest with myself. I got real with my body. I got back into the Word. And I built what I now call the Legacy Body Life Method. I was determined to leave a different kind of legacy for my daughter and those that I love.

It took three years to dial in the process, get educated and trained, and test it.

I've since taken a full group of women through all twelve weeks of it. Every lesson in here, I made. Every workout in here, I do.

Your daughter isn't listening to what you say about getting older.

She's watching what you do with it.

So is your granddaughter. So is the friend who keeps saying she'll start on Monday. They're watching how you move, how you love, how you handle a hard week, and what you do with the second chapter of the one life you were given.

Weak, frail and fading is a thing they'll remember. Strong, joyful and on mission is a thing they'll remember too. We're role models whether we signed up for it or not. The only question left is what kind.

And that's not built in five days, or in a good intention, or in a week where you finally felt motivated.

This is where legacy actually gets built. Twelve weeks at a time.

You want to reclaim your youthful vitality and joy.

You're willing to show up for twelve weeks, not twelve days.

You're ready to stop coasting and start building.

This isn't for you if:

You're looking for a quick fix.

You want someone to do the work for you.

Is it inexpensive?

No. I'm not going to pretend otherwise. What I'll say is this: it's a fraction of what one month of assisted living costs. (For real, my mom's was $6K a month!) And it's considerably less than what most women have quietly spent over the years on things that never quite worked. (Hand raised.)

This works. I've seen it. And at the end of twelve weeks you won't be wondering if it was worth it. You'll be wondering why you waited so long.
